About The Torps

Mimi and Jon met on a blind date and have been married for over 30 years.

They learned early on that humor, respect and compromise were the key elements in creating their strong foundation. This awareness has enhanced their personal bond and their professional relationships as well.

Specializing in Santa Monica and Westside neighborhoods, the Torps are consistently raising the bar in getting sellers their highest sales price.

They’re known for their expert buying and selling strategies combined with savvy negotiation skills.  Respectfully listening with empathy, speaking with honesty and acting with integrity earns them sincere regard from their clients, colleagues and community.

They recently experienced first-hand the challenges facing sellers and buyers when they sold their long-time Santa Monica townhouse and bought a home in Mar Vista. And happy they did!

In addition to their full-service pledge to their clients, the Torps believe in the importance of gratitude and giving back to their community. Their series of award-winning community care programs have benefited environmental programs at Westside schools and successfully promoted neighborhood earthquake preparedness.

The Torps are pleased to expand the family business with the addition of daughter Emily to their team. She provides perceptive real estate community insights backed by keen print and social media marketing expertise.

The team believes whole-heartedly in the power of marketing, and creates unique marketing plans for each property they represent, strategically utilizing print, social and digital media to get thousands of qualified views for each of their listings.

Mimi, Jon and Emily have a hands-on commitment to all aspects of every real estate transaction. They consistently go above and beyond to assure their clients not only meet their real estate goals, but exceed them.  Passionate about people, the relationships and enduring friendships they’ve made are what they value most in business.
